WHAT IS THE SHOP HOP?
The All Ohio Shop Hop brings together sewing and quilting enthusiasts from across Ohio and neighboring states. The event will run August 1 through September 30 in 2025. (Get the exclusive fabrics HERE.)
The All Ohio Shop Hop™ Magazine is your guide to all things about the event. In addition, you will find patterns, articles and resources for sewing and quilting. Your magazine will be a great reference even after the Shop Hop has ended. Use it as inspiration for a new project, or to find a quilt shop as you meander through Ohio.
- Magazines are only available from participating Shop Hop stores. Many stores will also sell the magazine online or over the phone and mail it to you.
- Magazines will be in stores about 6 weeks before the event begins.
- Your magazine will include an official Passport. Each person in your party will need a Passport in order to register for prizes.
- Regional and state maps are included in the magazine to help you plan your routes.
- The magazine notes special hours for participating Shop Hop stores.
Qualifying for Prizes
Visit any participating store to get your copy of the All Ohio Shop Hop Magazine. It features everything you need for your Great Sewing Adventures™ — an official passport and map, information on participating stores, special shop hop hours, free patterns highlighting our exclusive fabrics, inspiring articles and more!
- Present your passport in person to be stamped at each participating store you visit.
- One stamp per customer per store.
- No purchase is necessary to play!
- Participants must be age 18 or older.
- A special youth passport is available for young sewers ages 8 to 17! Pick one up at participating Shop Hop stores.
- Only one passport may be submitted by a participant. In other words, two or more passports may NOT be combined to achieve prize levels.
Prize Levels
There are multiple levels of prizes for you to win. All winners are selected by random drawing. Prizes will be drawn for in the following order. Once an entry wins, it will not be eligible for additional prizes within that category. Individuals may have entries in multiple categories which may allow them to win more than one prize.
EVENT GRAND PRIZES: Collect the stamps from ALL stores on the All Ohio Shop Hop to be entered in the drawing to win a special event-wide grand prize.
HALFWAY PRIZES: Collect passport stamps from at least HALF of all participating stores anywhere in Ohio to be entered in this prize drawing.
REGIONAL PRIZES: Collect passport stamps from ALL stores in a Region to receive one entry into the prize drawing for THAT region. Regional Grand Prizes will be drawn first. Entries then become eligible for the many other prizes offered for each region. Complete one or all regions for more chances to win!
GENERAL LEVEL PRIZES: Collect passport stamps from 5 or more participating stores anywhere in Ohio to be entered in this prize drawing. Shoppers who collect stamps from all the stores in a region will also be entered into this drawing. Be sure to submit your passport for entry!
Thank-You Gifts for Shoppers
QUILT BLOCK PATTERN CARDS: Present your passport to receive a free Quilt Block Pattern Card from each participating Shop Hop store you visit. Combine your favorite quilt block patterns to create special one-of-a-kind projects.PROJECT RECIPE CARDS: Receive a free recipe card when you collect passport stamps from ALL STORES IN A REGION. There is a different recipe card for each region. The recipe card projects incorporate quilt block patterns from the cards you collected by visiting Shop Hop stores. Be sure to mail in your Passport at the end of the Shop Hop to verify your completed regions. Qualifying participants will receive their items by mail. No purchase necessary. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks following the end of the Shop Hop for delivery.
ALL-EVENT QUILT LABELS: Receive a free collectible Quilt Label when you visit ALL stores in the event. Using embroidery or a permanent fabric marker, fill in the year, who made the quilt, and if appropriate, who the quilt was made for. Then attach the fabric label to the back of your quilt. Be sure to mail in your Passport at the end of the Shop Hop to verify your store visits. Qualifying participants will receive their items by mail. No purchase necessary. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks following the end of the Shop Hop for delivery.
