Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a genetic disease (passed from an affected parent to their child) causing uncontrolled growth of cysts in the kidney eventually leading to kidney failure. The PKD Foundation is the only organization in the U.S. solely dedicated to finding treatments and a cure for polycystic kidney disease and to improving the lives of those it affects. Since 1982, the PKD Foundation has funded more than 1,300 research projects. They give hope by advocating for patients, and building a community for all impacted by PKD. If you would like to join The PKD Foundation in their efforts, please click HERE to donate. They are reliant on private donors to continue their work to #endPKD. Thank you.
