We interrupt this class schedule to give you breaking news!  We have to tell you about the bus trip we have planned to International Quilt Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 14th.  We had so much fun on our bus last year.  We will again have snacks and door prizes.  The price will be $79.99.  Click here to get more details and to sign up.  Last year the bus filled up fast and we only have 49 seats this year. 

Now, we rejoin the class schedule already in progress.  We are excited to offer you a brand new line up of classes.  I am most excited about the Prairie Women's Sewing Circle .  I love all of the 7 quilts!  They are, of course, right up my antique and reproduction alley but they would look equally good in batiks, brights and Christmas.  So, don't rule these out by the fabric they are in, but look at the design and go from there.  If you don't want to take the class, we have all seven patterns available for $35.  Here is just one of the quilts that we will make:

We are having a class from the book Jelly Roll Sampler Quilts .  We will make sampler blocks from this book during this year long class.

Next up is the hand applique block of the month called Summer Blooms .  Look at this beautiful wall hanging:

Here is the wool block of the month class called Autumn Quilt by Heart to Hand.

And, a new Janome Foot Club where we will feature one Janome foot and show you how to use it.

We are also having classes for Beginning Quilting , Basic Machine Quilting, Machine Applique, Paper Piecing, Four Patch Stacked Posy, OSU Couch Quilt , Pajama pants and more!

New Fabric:  Moda Chemistry, Moda Blueberry Crumbcake (going fast!), Jo's Variety and about 15 new bolts of misc. red and gray fabrics.

Winter Weather:  Be sure to check our web site for updates about possible closings.  Depending on the weather, we may close early or open late or close for the day.  We will post on the front page of our web site any closings.

Christmas Fabric Sale:  All the Christmas fabric is now on sale for 25% off.  We will put all our Christmas inventory on sale beginning January 2nd.  Look for some big savings of up to 50% off.

Holiday Hours:  We will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 24, Sunday, Dec. 25 and Monday, Dec. 26.  We will be closed for the New Year on Saturday, Dec. 31 and Sunday, Jan. 1st. 

Let me just take a minute to address all the rumors.  With everything that happened to me personally this year, I have not been on top of my game.  In case you haven't heard or read on the blog , in March my Mom, who worked here with me pretty much full time, was diagnosed with state IV Pancreatic Cancer.  Then in May, I was diagnosed with Kidney cancer, Polycystic Kidney Disease and a Brain Aneuysm.  In July, I had my left kidney partially removed and then just 2 days later, my mom died.  Then, in October, I had brain surgery to clip the aneuysm.  So, you can see why some things had to go on the back burner and why we would consider selling or closing.  I am here to tell you loud and clear WE ARE NOT FOR SALE OR CLOSING!!!  I am doing well and I love owning and working at Red Rooster Quilts.  I have dedicated myself to making 2012 the best year personally and professionally!!!  So, put that rumor to bed!

Ok, let me get down off my soap box and thank you loyal customers who keep coming back and making us the #1 quilt shop in central Ohio.  If our service has been lacking this past year, now you know why even though that's not your concern you just want service, selection and quality and we are here to provide you with that and more.
