Please encourage your customers to enroll in any or all of these classes. The classes are not sequential, so attendees do not need to attend the first to enroll in the second or third. Attendees can enroll anytime, and upon enrollment will receive instructions for logging in to the presentation at the class time. Trevor is also soliciting questions before-hand, so encourage your customers to email their questions – or provide him with some of your own!

After the live online broadcast, these classes will be made available for purchase on one DVD.

Janome has teamed with Trevor Conquergood, from Stitchitize and Sunset Stitches, to offer a schedule of FREE online digitizing classes. The classes are designed to offer tips and tricks for using the Digitizer range of products. Each class will include a Janome educator on hand to answer any specific Janome questions.  

The schedule for classes is as follows (times listed are Mountain Standard Time):

Digitizer 101-1a with Trevor and Janome Educator Valora Hammond
Tuesday May 25th from 1:00pm to 2:00pm MST  (Mountain Standard Time is 3 hours behind us so this would be at 4:00 pm)

Digitizer 101-1b with Trevor and Janome Educator Nancy Fiedler
Thursday June 3rd from 8:00pm to 9:00pm MST

Digitizer 101-1c with Trevor and Janome Educator Mary Carollo
Thursday June 17th from 1:00pm to 2:00pm MST

I encourage anyone with Digitizer software to try to catch at least one of these demos.  You'll be glad you did.

Hello Quilters!

We have two new block of the month programs to tell you about.  I'll start with the one that's generated the most buzz around the country!  We are please to be one of two stores in the US to be able to offer you this 9 month program called My Garden by Lynette Anderson Designs.  The quilt has 9 blocks made up of hand embroidery, applique and a cute hand painted button designed by Lynette Anderson Designs specifically for this quilt.  Then each block is set together with courthouse steps.  We have the fabric to finish the quilt that is shown in the photo.  The quilt is 30" square when finished.  The patterns, buttons and fabric will begin to ship in July.  The kits will run around $15 + shipping.  We have a very limited number of buttons so sign up quick if you are interested.  We will have a class beginning in September.

The second block of the month is unique too.  It's called Holidays at Home. This quilt has easy construction because a stripped fabric is used to create blocks with minimal piecing.  This block of the month will start in June and you will get your last set of fabrics in November so you can have this one done just in time for Christmas.  The kits are $24 + shipping.  We are taking sign ups for this one now, too.  The finished size is 62" square.

You all know I LOVE the little quilts.  Here's my latest creation.  The finished quilt is 10" x 12.5" with 2.5" little churn dashes.  And, doesn't it look so cute framed!  The pattern is available to purchase with kits coming soon.  The frame came from the local Hobby Lobby, I love their frames.

Upcoming classes:  This FRIDAY night we're having another fun all evening sew from 5-10 pm.  We will be making a scrap quilt.  So, clean out those scraps and come on over for some fun, food & friends.  Bring a side dish to share, we'll provide the main course.  Don't want to make our scrap quilt, come and work on you own project but just COME and have fun.

Upcoming events:  Christmas in June!  Come on over Friday, June 5th & Saturday June 6th for the unveiling of the new Christmas fabrics.  We'll have some great new samples to go with these fabrics plus some Christmas specials and more. 

QSI Shop Hop:  June 9th-13th.  For just $5 you can collect up to 12 patterns.  Here's a look at ours: It's the football field on the left, the cheddar and blues in the center and the flag on the right.
