Upcoming Classes
Hello Quilters~
Just want to update you on the classes this week. On Friday at 10:00 am, we'll start Little Women's Club. I misunderstood the fees for the club which has resulted in a less expensive class for you! Instead of $40, the class is now $28! It's not too late to join, we'll start tomorrow with a free project and the club projects next month.
Then, on Friday night, we're having our first Finish Friday night FUN class. Come from 5-10 pm and sew on anything you like. Bring a side dish to share, we'll provide Chili, paper plates, silverware and drinks. A chance to finish a project or start something new plus a fun night with other quilter's.
On Saturday, we have two classes. The first is "What does a quilt judge look for" from 10:00-Noon. Come and find out how to make your quilts blue ribbon worthy. Then from 1:00-4:00 pm Learn to Machine Quilt Feathers on ANY machine. We just have one spot left for the class so sign up quick!
On Monday, from 10-? come to our FREE sit & sew class. Having trouble with a project? There is a staff member available to assist you. Or, just come and sew and get your Christmas or Fall projects ready for the season.
Did you make a quilt from our Internet Block of the Week free quilt blocks? If so, bring them in by November 1st and we'll hang them in the shop. The viewer's choice quilt will win a $25 gift card. Don't live close? You can mail them in too.

Rummage Sale at Red Rooster Quilts
Hello Quilters!
Just back from a quilt retreat and it was so fun to get away and sew for 4 days! I used the new Janome 1/4" foot and I LOVE it!!! First off - the bar is removable. I had mine off the whole week and I'll never go back. I can sew diagonal lines without changing feet. It's great. But, if you want to use the bar, you can easily attach it on the right side or in the center. In the center the foot becomes a ditch foot. Secondly, the foot is clear acrylic so you can see what you're doing much better. We have them in stock so stop by and pick one up today. This foot may fit on other machines, too if you have a top drop in bobbin.

Don't forget, this SUNDAY, 10/4 from 12-4 is our Craft/Rummage Sale. We've opened our parking lot up to YOU to clean out your sewing space and turn those unwanted things into cash. Make sure you plan to stop over and see what great deals you can find. The store will be open on Sunday from 12-4. We still have space available so come join us. You will be paying the vendors so please bring cash or check. If the parking lot is full, you can park on the street.
This Friday & Saturday (10/2 & 10/3) all our fall and Halloween fabric selection will be on sale at 25% off fabric cut from the bolt. We have some really cute Halloween groups. Stop in early because we have some pretty skinny bolts of Haunted Hallow and Scribble Monsters, the two most popular.
It's not too late to join our Little Women's Club by Jo Morton. The patterns have been delayed but we will have them by the November meeting. So, for the October class just bring you're sewing machine and we'll supply every thing you need to make a pin cushion. Friday class meets 10/16 and Saturday class meets 10/10. Click here to sign up for Saturday classes. Click here to sign up for the Friday classes.
New Fabric: Butter Churn and Cheddar by Marcus. Great yellows and oranges for the pop in your reproduction quilt. Bonnie Blue's America for Marcus. Rich reds, blues and paper bag browns and dark browns make up this collection. Officially licensed Girl Scouts fabric. It's super cute and waiting for the girl scout in you life to either make something from or have you help them learn to quilt. We will be getting some kits in soon that would be great for troop badges.

Our web site is finally starting to take shape. We have most of the new collections of fabric on there for you to view and purchase. We have many new books and some new kits. Take a look. See what's new. www.redroosterquilts.com
