Hello Quilters!

Where do I begin?  It's been a whirlwind last month with the NQA Show and the QSI Shop hop.  We're still trying to catch up from these events while planning for the next - My Quilt Spree (formerly Central Ohio Shop Hop) which begins July 23rd.  If you've ordered anything from us at either of these two events, we are busy little elves trying to get things ordered and shipped. 

Exciting news!  We are now Tin Lizzie Dealers.  Janome and Tin Lizzie have partnered and we are bringing in the new Tin Lizzie with the 18" head and the Shirley Stitcher computer program.  It is due to arrive in the shop on July 3rd.  Look for it to be up and running sometime next week.  If you've been thinking of adding a mid arm to your sewing room, this is IT!  Come in and see how smooth and easy it is to run!

As we've mentioned in the past, we have a new web site.  To kick off our new site, we're starting a block of the week quilt.  Here's how this works: Every Monday beginning July 6th for the next nine weeks, we will have a FREE quilt block pattern on our site.  We will show you the block made up in two different colors.  You can choose to order a kit from us for each block which will be shipped every Monday.  Or, you can use your stash.  You can also purchase a finishing kit.  The directions will be posted on Monday each week through August 31st.  On September 7th we will post the finishing instructions.  The blocks will be 8" blocks and the finished size will be ~45" square.  Here's a sneak peak:

The NQA Show was very successful.  Surprisingly, we still have a few MC6600P and JP720 sewing machines left.  If you've been thinking about purchasing one of these machines, stop by today.  You can take it home with you or put it in lay-away.  No finance charges to put your machine in lay-away!

Upcoming classes: Hand Applique class is this Friday at 10:00 (I think the old web site has it for next Friday) Little Women's Club is July 10th or 11th.  Sit-n-sew on Monday, July 13th at 10:00 am is a FREE class with FREE professional help on any project you need help with.  Or, just bring in what you're currently working on and have fun sewing with friends.  New Janome classes added, too.  You cannot yet sign up for a class on line but we are working on that, too.  Please call to sign up for a class.

New Fabric:  Where do I begin?  So much new has arrived in the last few weeks that I don't think I can remember it all.  We have several new Christmas panels that are advent calendars, aprons and tree skirts.  Hot of the fabric press and just in TODAY is the new Jo Morton collection called Crimson & Clover.  A really nice collection of greens, reds & cheddar yellow.  Look for all these items to be available on our web site next week.
